The Psychological Science of Racism: Expert Panel
The Association for Psychological Science presented an expert panel on the psychological science of racism on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. This live virtual event was open to journalists and editors from the international news media.
Panelists discussed the psychological science of how racist attitudes and behaviors are formed, and how they can be influenced using science.
Panelists include Priscilla Lui, Assistant Professor of Psychology at Southern Methodist University; Jackson G. Lu, Mitsui Career Development Professor and an Assistant Professor of Work and Organization Studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management; Michael Kraus, Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Yale School of Management; and, Sapna Cheryan, professor of psychology at the University of Washington.
