About ESTSS
ESTSS 2015 is the annual Conference of European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, for the first time to be held in Northeastern Europe. Expected to attract around 600 academics and practitioners, it is going to be Europe’s largest event in the field of trauma psychology this year.
Under the theme of “Trauma in Changing Societies: Social Contexts and Clinical Practice,” the Conference aims to discuss the social context of trauma, including acknowledgement of trauma, social support, linking traumatic stress field among different professionals and educating society about trauma and recovery. It will also focus on clinical practice — its newest trends, issues and the most advanced know-how. A series of preconference workshops will also be of interest to field professionals, academics, students or anyone working with people affected by traumas.
