New Interdisciplinary Behavioral and Social Science Research (IBSS) Competition
The Interdisciplinary Behavioral and Social Science Research (IBSS) has a two new support opportunities for Interdisciplinary research projects under solicitation number NSF 12-614. Proposals for: 1. IBSS Large Interdisciplinary Research Projects. Large interdisciplinary research projects may be supported by awards as large as $1,000,000. 2. IBSS Interdisciplinary Team Exploratory Projects. Announcing the APSSC Student Grant Competition
Each year the APSSC Student Grant Competition recognizes and funds outstanding research in its initial stages of development. Applicants will gain valuable experience in grant writing and also receive written feedback on their work from peer reviewers. Moreover, winning an award is an outstanding accomplishment that will serve to enhance your vita. Graduate and undergraduate student affiliates from all areas of psychological science are strongly encouraged to apply. Research grant proposals must be submitted to the Graduate Advocate by November 15, 2012, at 11:59 pm.

Secondary Analyses and Archiving of Social and Behavioral Datasets in Aging
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) recently issued two R03 grant announcements. R03 grants support small research projects that can be carried out in a short period of time with limited resources. The announcements are soliciting applications for (1) secondary analysis of data on aging in the areas of psychology, behavioral genetics, economics, demography, or (2) archiving and dissemination of data sets. These two announcements have two separate funds of $1,000,000 each as well as separate reviews and due dates. R03 RFA AG13-004 Secondary Analyses and Archiving of Social and Behavioral Datasets in Aging (R03): Researchers can request up to $50K in direct cost per year for only one year.
