Policy Fellowships: Society for Research in Child Development
The Society for Research in Child Development, SRCD, is seeking applications for upcoming Policy Fellowships for 2013-2014. There are two types of Fellowships: Congressional and Executive Branch. Both provide Fellows with exciting opportunities to come to Washington, DC and use their research skills in child development outside of the academic setting to inform public policy. Fellows work as resident scholars within their federal agency or Congressional office placements. Deadline to apply: December 15, 2012 Fellowships are full-time immersion experiences and run from September 1st through August 31st.

APA Call for Nominations for Awards for Year 2013
Deadline: February 15, 2013 The Society for General Psychology, Division One of the American Psychological Association is conducting its Year 2013 awards competition, including the William James Book Award for a recent book that serves to integrate material across psychological subfields or to provide coherence to the diverse subject matter of psychology, the Ernest R. Hilgard Award for a Lifetime Career Contribution to General Psychology, the George A. Miller Award for an Outstanding Recent Article on General Psychology, and the Arthur W. Staats Lecture for Unifying Psychology, which is an American Psychological Foundation Award managed by the Society for General Psychology.

Chateaubriand Fellowship Program
The Chateaubriand Fellowship is a grant offered by the Embassy of France in the United States. Every year, it allows doctorate students enrolled in American universities to conduct research in France for up to 10 months. The STEM fellowship program and the HSS fellowship program have different modes of selection but they are both highly prestigious and merit-based. Chateaubriand recipients receive a stipend, a round trip ticket to France, and health insurance.
