Would you or a neuroscience colleague like to develop and teach a course on neuroethics at your institution? The University of Pennsylvania is ready to help, by offering Short-term Visiting Fellowships for Teaching Neuroethics. This summer the Penn Center for Neuroscience & Society will host 16 college and university professors with primary expertise in neuroscience for a week-long intensive course on "neuroethics," that is, the ethical, legal and societal implications of neuroscience.

The Dubrovnik Conference on Cognitive Science (DuCog) is a small-medium size annual conference with up to 100 participants. Every year, a specific topic is covered by keynote speakers and invited speakers. The focus of the conference this year is sleep, neural oscillations, and cognition. NSF Seeks New Director for Behavioral and Social Science Programs
The National Science Foundation’s is initiating a national search for the Assistant Director for Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences (SBE), Myron Gutmann has served in this position, with distinction, since November 2009. The Assistant Director, SBE, manages a Directorate comprising the division of Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences (BCS), the division of Social and Economic Sciences (SES), the SBE Office of Multidisciplinary Activities (SMA), and the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES).
