Registration for the Estes Workshop taking place May 14-15th, “Deep, fast and shallow learning in humans and machines,” is open until April 26th. The registration fee is $60 for faculty, $25 for graduate students/postdocs, $35 for the general public, and $15 for graduate students. Estes Travel Fellowships are available.
Registration for the Mid-West Cognitive Science Conference, taking place May 12-13th, is open until April 15th. The registration fee is $30 for students and postdocs and $50 for faculty and those not affiliated with an academic institution. The conference will include two sessions of 20-minute talks and a poster session, as well as a keynote talk by APS Past President Susan Goldin-Meadow.
