Upcoming Webinars on NSF Education Research Funding Opportunities
The National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) is offering a set of four webinars providing further information on recent calls for research proposals that address areas of special interest to EHR. These areas span a range of topics of potential interest to psychological scientists who work in the area of education.
Those interested in meeting NSF’s calls for research in a particular area should read NSF’s “Dear Colleague Letter” for that area, which further details NSF’s interest in the topic, and then register for the associated webinar. These webinars are being held the weeks of August 11 and August 18, 2019.
These four areas of special EHR interest are:
- Fundamental Discipline-Based Education Research (DBER) Focused on Undergraduate and Graduate STEM Education
- Research to Improve STEM Teaching and Learning, Workforce Development for Persons with Disabilities
- Fundamental Research on Equity, Inclusion, and Ethics
- STEM Workforce Development Using Flexible Personal Learning Environments
Do note—even if you do not attend the webinar, the Dear Colleague Letters still apply, inviting you to submit for NSF funding October 3, 2019, and the first Thursday in October thereafter.
