Step One: Please log in to the APS website using the email address and password you used to create your profile and purchase registration. 
  
Step Two: Select “My Profile” and proceed to the “Purchases” tab (it is the fourth tab to the right of Overview). 
  
Step Three: Under the “Purchases” tab, click on the “Events” label (it is the sixth one in the selection beginning with Recent Orders). There, you will see in the “Registered Events” section, the event you attended, featuring: “Event Name”, “Your Name”, “The Date You Registered”, “Event Start/End Date”, and a blue button named “Details”. 
  
Step Four: Select “Details” (blue button), and on the next page under “Event Attendees”, you will see a blue button titled ‘Download Certificate’. Click that button, and in the following prompt, press okay and download the certificate.   

To obtain a receipt for registration:  Open your APS profile and go to the purchase option to view, print, or resend your receipt. After the Global Summit, an online certificate will be available to registered attendees by accessing your APS member profile. 

Certificates of participation will be available to all roundtable and poster presenters on Friday, October 25, 2024. Presenters have already received a link to access the Speaker Center for their submission. Please check your spam folders if you did not receive this email. Presenting Authors are responsible for sharing the certificate with their fellow authors.

The APS Annual Convention is an international psychological science conference featuring invited and submitted content from all areas of the field, including:

• Biological/Neuroscience, Cognitive, Industrial/Organizational, Methodology, Social, Clinical Science, Developmental, General, Personality/Emotion, Teaching

The 2025 meeting will take place in person, on May 22-25, 2025, in Washington, D.C., featuring plenary sessions, symposia, flash talks, submitted talks, posters, educational sessions, receptions, special events, and more.

The Call for Submissions is APS’s on-line portal for submitting research to be presented at the APS Global Psychological Science Summit. Submission types include posters and roundtables. All submissions will be presented virtually.

No, APS only accepts submissions via the online Call for Submissions. 

APS Membership is not required to submit, present, and author a submission or attend the APS Global Psychological Science Summit. However, being a member of APS offers you a significant discount on registration and directly benefits you and your career. Posters are scheduled within 50-minute poster sessions and will be available on-demand during the Global Summit. We ask that you are available during your session time so that other Global Summit attendees can use the chat function to ask questions, etc. If your poster proposal is accepted, further instructions regarding virtual presentation proceedings will be provided.  

Roundtable session presenters should plan for a short presentation accompanied by slides (5-7 minutes), followed by a discussion with attendees. The entire session will be scheduled for 50 minutes.

Submissions for the 2024 APS Annual Convention will not automatically be reviewed for the APS Global Psychological Science Summit  If your poster was accepted but you could not attend the May 2024 convention, e.g., because of an emergency or visa issues, you will need to resubmit if you want to present your poster at the APS Global Psychological Science Summit.

Yes, there will be a separate call for submissions and separate review process for each event. 

If you present at an in-person APS Annual Convention, you may re-submit that research to the APS Global Psychological Science Summit in the same year.

The APS Global Psychological Science Summit formally kicks off with the Plenary Session: Toward a Global Psychological Science on the morning of Wednesday, October 23, 2024, followed by Poster Viewing Sessions and Roundtable Sessions throughout the day. The day ends with the Plenary Session: Challenges in Global Psychological Science.  

The APS program continues Thursday, with Workshops, Poster Viewing Sessions, and Roundtable Sessions occurring throughout the day. Finally, our APS Global Psychological Science Summit ends with the Closing Plenary Session: Future of Global Psychological Science.

APS Global Psychological Science Summit attendees will have opportunities to engage with each other in live chats during invited sessions, during the viewing of posters, and in submitted roundtable sessions. APS’s next convention outside of the US will be the APS Annual Convention in May 2026 in a European city to be announced soon.

Starting in 2025, the APS Annual Convention and ICPS will merge. The new APS Annual Convention, which will have features of both the APS Annual Convention and ICPS, will rotate to locations outside of the US every 3 years, the first year being 2026.
