APS Statement on Cancellation of APS 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the APS Board of Directors has determined that APS is no longer able to host the 32nd APS Annual Convention in Chicago, IL, USA, May 21-24, 2020 safely or in a way that meets the intended purpose of the event.
APS is pleased to announce the Virtual Poster Showcase so that we can recognize the hundreds of hours of preparation by our presenters. This virtual platform will allow speakers and attendees to share and experience the research that would have been presented in Chicago.
The APS Virtual Poster Showcase is a great way to share research and receive feedback from the community. This virtual platform will allow attendees to browse through the posters on display, read through the 50-word abstract for each poster, and chat with poster authors by commenting or asking questions.
Thousands of psychological scientists have already registered to attend this virtual event. Registration is free and access will be available beginning Monday, June 1, 2020.
