2024 APS Annual Convention Press Information
The 2024 APS Annual Convention is the premier global event in psychological science, attracting more than 2,000 researchers from around the world who share the latest discoveries and developments in a variety of fields.
Complimentary press registration provides full access to the Convention, including plenary sessions, symposia, flash talks, posters, and educational sessions (unless otherwise noted), and networking events. Prior to registering, please take a moment to review our press policies.
To register, send your name and the media outlet you represent to: Lucy Hyde, APS Director of Marketing, at [email protected]. In the subject line, type APS 2024 Media Registration.
Press registration is open until 1 week before the convention begins.
The following categories are eligible for complimentary press registration:
- Working press, including reporters, news editors, science writers, news producers, and others working for recognized print, television, radio, or online entities, should provide press credentials, such as link/s to recently published science-related articles, a business card, or a letter from an editor.
- Freelance writers should provide a copy of a letter assigning you to cover APS 2024; a link to recent evidence of related work (with your byline) in a recognized publication within the last year; and, if possible, a current membership card from a national or international science journalism organization.
- Public information officers from nonprofit institutions including government agencies, educational and/or research institutions, and scientific societies should provide a copy or a business card or other evidence of affiliation. Eligibility applies only to those whose primary job function is public or media relations.
